@ryans_minis sur Instagram nous fait régulièrement de bien belles choses, avec son schéma de flotte-ruche atypique.
Il nous livre ici une de ses recettes :
Step 1. Base coat an even coat of a 50:50 mix of Vallejo Violet (xereus purple will work too) and pink horror. I painted this on top of 'the fang' spray base.
Step 2. Apply a very thin layer of pink horror all over (leaving some of the base coat around the edges) the idea is that the paint is thick enough that it gives a patchy look.
Step 3. start to pick out shapes with more pink horror, you still want the paint thinner down but not as much as the previous layer.
Step 4. Start to add Ushabti bone to pink horror and follow the pattern you previously made. You want the darker spots to be closer to the edges and the spots closer to the centre to be a little lighter. You can make the spots lighter by going over them with the current mix waterd down more.
Step 5, 6 and 7. Keep adding more ushabti bone and keep tracing over the lighter sections. This time you're working in thinner lines towards the ends of the lines towards the darker edges you want to dot the paint on rather than have it finish in a solid line. Make sure each lighter layer becomes more central.
Step 8 make a final highlight by adding more ushabti bone just along the edges and branding out just a little following the lines you've made.
Final step, make a glaze of Vallejo Violet and apply around the edges. You can apply small amounts to some of the circles around the edges to create more depth and contrast.
